A home away from home in Orange Mound

Melrose carried lessons, friendships, pep rallies, clubs, teachers, and family histories across generations. Together, the annuals form an Orange Mound time capsule: a record of style, achievement, neighborhood enterprise, and the cultural life of a historic Black community.
